Wait, MUSIC LESSONS?

Yeah, my dude, I worked for TakeLessons until they closed, and now I offer virtual kindermusik-esque classes for kiddos! HOWEVER.

I am, for the first time, working directly with a homeschool director, and now, I’m creating SCHOOL CURRICULUM. To say I take this seriously is like asking if Bowen Yang is the only saving grace of SNL. This is their foundational music education, and my mother spent her entire life teaching music to elementary school public children. I know what goes into it, and I’m a classically trained pianist with collegiate-level theory courses successfully completed, and while I no longer give piano lessons, I am willing to do this. This scary, oh my god if I screw this up they will be a product of my failure and they will go forward in life never enjoying music because I failed them, thing.

We’re in Week Two, and I am having a blast.
